HERE’S WHY YOU SHOULD BOYCOTT THE WORLD’S BIGGEST MONOPOLY
Our society is heading towards an impending apocalypse – one that will wreak havoc on your human rights and destroy the concept of freedom and privacy. At the forefront of this is the biggest global monopoly today: GOOGLE.
This technology giant is now getting closer and closer to infringing on your private rights. From childhood education to subsidizing patented meat substitutes1 and even meddling with healthcare, Google is viciously injecting itself into our day-to-day lives – to the point of abuse and deception. And it does this by monopolizing the Internet and utilizing its personal information tracking and sharing services, as well as its high-tech gadgets.
Case in point: Google Home Mini, the company’s “smart speakers” released in October 2017, can apparently “spy” on users by recording audio without their permission – and then transmit the recorded sound bites to Google!2 If you are truly concerned about your privacy and your ability to obtain truthful information about crucial matters like your food and health, then you need to open your eyes and see clearly whose side Google is really on (Hint: It’s not on yours).

Can You Still Trust Google?
There is no other company in the world operating in breach of antitrust rules as blatantly as Google. As the adage goes: “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” After all, what can you expect from a company that allots massive amounts of corporate spending on lobbying, in an effort to eliminate competitors and gain power over others?
The Washington Post reports:
"Google has established a pattern of lobbying and threatening to acquire power. It has reached a dangerous point … The moment where it no longer wants to allow dissent … Once you reach a pinnacle of power, you start to believe that any threats to your authority are themselves villainous and that you are entitled to shut down dissent.
As Lord Acton famously said, 'Despotic power is always accompanied by corruption of morality.' Those with too much power cannot help but be evil. Google, the company dedicated to free expression, has chosen to silence opposition, apparently without any sense of irony…
[I]n recent years, Google has become greedy about owning not just search capacities, video and maps, but also the shape of public discourse. As the Wall Street Journal recently reported, Google has recruited and cultivated law professors who support its views."
Google has spent millions of dollars to influence public opinion and policymakers in both the U.S. and Europe. According to the non-profit watchdog organization Campaign for Accountability (CfA) report, “Google-funded studies are published by a wide variety of sources, and often blur the line between academic research and paid advocacy.” 3
The CfA also conducted their own research initiative on Google, called “The Google Transparency Project,”4 in an effort to shed light on how the company exerts influence on the government – and the results are shocking:5
“Over the past 18 months, the Google Transparency Project has documented more than 425 White House meetings by Google lobbyists, 250 revolving door hires between Google and government and more than 325 academic papers paid for by the company to help advance its policy interests.”
But Google’s deceptive ways have not gone unnoticed. In June 2017, the European Union has handed Google a record-breaking €2.24 BILLION fine for “abusing its dominance of the search engine market.”
Apparently, the company was artificially boosting its own price comparison service in searches – an illegal move that “denied both its consumers real choice and rival firms the ability to compete on a level playing field.”6
Google Thinks It’s the ‘Arbitrator’ of Real Versus Fake News
Most users today actually have very little understanding of how the search engine ranks different sites, and how exactly the equation works – and Google is the only one who holds the answer. The rest of the world only has to take their word that these equations are done without any trace of prejudice.
But can they be truly trusted to remain unbiased?
In April 2017, Google released an update codenamed “Project Owl,” which featured “algorithmic updates to surface more authoritative content.”7 It allows users two ways to report what they see as “problems” in the search results. Project Owl uses teams of humans, called Search Quality Raters (SQRs),8 so that its algorithms will show “more reliable information.”9
But here’s the truth: This is nothing more than a powerful attempt to control what users see in favor of their own company interests.
SQRs, who are supposed to represent average users, are actually required to strictly abide by what Google believes the “average user” is – meaning these paid raters still have to adhere to the set of standards that Google dictates!10
And if they fail to do so? They get penalized. An article in Ars Technica says:11
“Raters have to stick with Google's interpretation of what an average user is—or risk getting their hours cut.
One rater noted that the right answer on a task 'often doesn't fit our experiences as real users outside of work.’ Sometimes a bot will spot-check raters' work. If the bot finds some kind of problem, it will automatically lock the rater out of the task assignment system.”
The fact is that there have been many accusations of Google tampering with its search results, going as far back as its early days. But with Project Owl, they are really going overboard. As Michael Bertini, a search strategist at the digital marketing agency iQuanti, puts it: 12
“They’re controlling what users see. If Google is controlling what they deem to be fake news, I think that’s bias.”
This step to prevent “problematic searches” is just a way for Google to push for agendas that fall in their favor – censoring information that’s not in their best interests.
The issue is getting more and more serious that lawmakers are now closing in on Google, as it’s becoming apparent that stronger and more aggressive regulatory measures must be conducted on the company and similar Internet giants.13

Perhaps one of the strongest proofs of Google’s abuse of power is the launch of its depression self-awareness quiz, which, no matter what answers you give, funnels you toward a pharmaceutical drug solution.
The quiz, which was launched in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), makes it clear that Google is getting deeper into the drug promotion business. In fact, the quiz was actually sponsored by drug manufacturer Eli Lilly, creator of the antidepressant drug Cymbalta!

So just how intricately and aggressively does Google infiltrate people’s lives and privacy?
Well, the answers seem to come straight from the horse’s mouth. Google’s co-founder Eric Schmidt has expressed just exactly how intrusive their company can be:14
“We don't need you to type at all. We know where you are. We know where you've been. We can more or less know what you're thinking about.”
